SERVING CASS TWP. AND SURROUNDING AREA FOR OVER 65 YEARS

The South Cass Township Citizens' Fire Company is one of four volunteer fire companies serving the Township of Cass in Schuylkill County, PA.  The organization takes its name from one of four voting precincts in existence in the township at the time of the company's formation. South Cass is comprised of the villages of Primrose, Black Heath, Jonestown and Pine Hill which all lies at the base of Mine Hill, an area well known for its rich coal deposits.  It is here that our first directors lived and worked. It is here that they established the South Cass Township Citizens' Fire Company.
